I was born in Slovenj Gradec
(Slovenia) on the 17th of
August 1993. I made my first
official music steps in a
music school in Ravne na
Koroskem with my professor
Davorin Jevšnikar in 1998.
There I learn percussions with
a great pleasure. In August 2005
I visited Summer jazz school
in Grožnjan (Croatia), where
I met my dear friend and
colleague Boško Petrović.
Since then vibraphone is my
favourite instrument and some
of jazz standards my
favorite music. My “godfather”
Boško Petrović and
Euro-Unit/Yamaha CRO helped
me a lot to buy my own Yamaha
YV-2700G vibraphone. In autumn
2005 I started to work with two
great jazz teachers Samo Kolar
and Jaka Pucihar. As a guest
of Boško Petrović I played some
gigs with him in Slovenia and
Croatia. In June 2006 I won 4th
place on Euritmia international
young musicians competition in
Udine (Italy) and after that visit
music summer schools (Kranjska.
gora, Grožnjan, Maribor, St.
Gerold).
Thanks to B.P. and BB Grosuplje
I experienced big band playing
and after that played with BB
Cerknica and with HGM
Jazzorkestar.
In 2007 I finished my basic music
school education in Slovenia.
*June: 1st place on Euritmia
international young musicians
competition in Udine (Italy)
*July: Veneto jazz (I)
*July/August: Jazz is back! (Cro)
*August: Jazz kamp Kranj (Slo)
Special thanks to Cene Resnik,
who really helped me on my further
education.
That’s all. My short bio.
